Founding Families
Now welcoming Founding Families.
Join the paid beta and help shape what comes next. $19 a month after a free week. No credit card to start your 7 days. We only ask for one if you decide to subscribe.
This is a real, paid product that is genuinely unfinished. This page tells you exactly which parts are which, so you can decide with your eyes open rather than discover it in week two.
What works today
Everything here is built, tested, and usable with your own familyβs data right now.
- Weekly lesson plannerPlan a week at a time, move lessons when the day changes, duplicate a lesson, or copy a whole week forward.
- Lesson builderTitle, subject, learner, time and duration, plus the learning goal, why it matters, materials and your own notes.
- Unlimited learnersAdd every child in your family. Plan for one, some, or all of them at once.
- Lesson resourcesAttach the worksheet, the video, the answer key β as a link or an upload β and carry them forward with the lesson.
- Evidence of learningAttach photos, scans, PDFs, video, audio, or write your own observation of what your child actually did.
- Today's AdventureOpen the app and the day is already gathered β every lesson you planned for today, with a one-tap tick when it's done.
- PortfolioEvery piece of evidence your completed lessons produced, newest first, filterable by learner. A record you can look through, not a report you have to build.
- Standards and family goalsWrite your own learning goals and link them to lessons. Florida standards are available as a searchable reference.
- Calendar exportDownload your week or month as a .ics file and open it in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook.
- Private family storageEvery file you upload is private to your family and can only be opened by someone signed in to it.
What is not built yet
These are notincluded in what you are paying for, and we are not promising dates. They are listed because you deserve to know before you commit a school yearβs records to us β and because Founding Families get to tell us which one to build first.
- Morning MeetingA guided, full-screen morning ritual you can edit and present.
- AttendanceMarking and totalling school days.
- Instructional hoursLogging time by subject and reporting against a yearly requirement.
- Portfolio reports and year-in-reviewThe Portfolio itself works today. What isn't built is turning it into something you can hand to someone else: printable year-in-review packs, per-child report summaries and portfolio printing.
- Growing Grove progressA visual picture of the year your family has built.
- Field tripsPlanning and recording learning that happens away from home.
- PrintablesPrintable planners, logs and record sheets.
- Standards beyond FloridaOther states' libraries, added as we confirm each source may be reused.
Known limitations weβd rather you heard from us
- Standards cover Florida only. Other states are not in the library yet. You can still write your own learning goals, and those work everywhere.
- Calendar export is one-way. You download a .ics file and import it. Changes you make in your calendar app do not come back, and there is no live subscription feed yet. We would rather ship no sync than a sync that silently loses a lesson.
- There is no attendance or hours report. If your state requires you to file those numbers, you will still be counting them yourself this year.
- Account deletion is handled by a person, not a button. Email us and we will do it within 30 days.
- There is no mobile app. The site works on a phone β including uploading a photo straight from the camera β but it is a website.
- It is one family per account. Co-op and multi-family sharing does not exist.
What we promise in return
- We will never list a feature as working when it is not. If you find somewhere we have, that is a bug and we want to hear about it.
- Your price does not go up while you stay subscribed.
- Cancel whenever you like, and keep reading, exporting and downloading everything you created β see Refunds & cancellation.
- A person answers your email, usually within a couple of days.
Telling us something is wrong
There is a Feedback link inside the app on every screen β that is the fastest route, because it can tell us which page you were on. Or write directly to support@kigrove.com.
Bug reports, βthis wording confused meβ, and βI need this one thing before I can switchβ are all equally welcome. The third kind is the most useful.
